The objective for this project was to create a graphic translation of an animal that communicates its characteristics through shape and form.
Research
I had gathered several visual references of the american bullfrog to serve as inspiration of the poses of the frog. I had taken nose of their common facial expressions and squatted position.
Sketches
I focused on creating a variety of different poses and using as few visual elements as possible to add simplicity to the composition.
Refinements
I had selected a squatted position for the bullfrog and made several adjustments to the mark's form based off of peer feedback.
